July 17th, 2013 by JenStill here. Looks like this baby just doesn’t want to compete with the also-soon-to-be-born-Monarch of England and will let it go first.
As compared with 28 weeks here.

July 12th, 2013 by JenFor those playing along at home, tonight I am two days past my due date with this baby. Josie and Celia were 7 and 6 days late respectively, so I’m not very surprised but still anxious to get this show on the road. To keep us all busy, I signed Josie up for swimming lessons, which started Monday and run till next Friday on weekdays. It gives us someplace to get up and go to each morning and both girls get lots of active fun sensory time. Josie has been very enthusiastic with her lessons even though two weeks ago she didn’t want to do them at all. Her friends Sophie and Adelaide are also in the class which definitely helps.
Celia spends the lesson time digging in the sand right on the waters edge. Then later depending on the weather we’ve swam more all together, done more sand play, hit the playground, or just headed home when it was raining.
You are my dinosaur ™
July 9th, 2013 by JenBefore bed these days Celia wants me to sing her a song, and one day I made some alterations to try to get her out of a funk to the traditional ‘You Are My Sunshine’. Now ‘You are my dinosaur’ is all that is requested on a nightly basis. So here it is with a few liberties as to how many syllables there are in each line for the original:
You are my dinosaur, my scaly green dinosaur. You make me happy when volcanoes erupt. You’ll never know dear how much I love you, please don’t take my scaly green dinosaur away.
The other night dear as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my talons. When I awoke dear, I was mistaken and I hung down my giant dinosaur head and I cried.
You are my dinosaur, my scaly green dinosaur. You make me happy when volcanoes erupt. You’ll never know dear how much I love you, please don’t take my scaly green dinosaur away.
We did it!
