Celia has the toilet thing figured out. She has gone days without any incidents including naps. Still using the diaper at night but that’s dry about once a week too.

Jordi and I are still working out the possible names for this forthcoming baby, yet unknown to be a boy or girl. We haven’t let them look to check. A while ago at dinner the girls came up with a long list of possibilities for us. Let us know your favorites

yeah we’re going back to the drawing board.

Happy 60th birthday to my dad today! We got to enjoy some yummy mexican food together and some sweet potato pecan pie that the poor birthday boy had to make himself. It was yummy. Next year hopefully I can be more on the ball with that, but I’m fairly out of commission for complicated cooking these days. This is going to count as my pic of me at 35 weeks too.

We weren’t quite sure how to get the candles into the pie, so we went with sticking them into some ice cream for stability to go along with the pie!

This week at Josie’s school they had a raffle for a whole bunch of different items. I bought a bunch of tickets to support the school and tossed them into two items, a kids rocking chair and a set of restaurant gift certificates. I told the kids it was a donation to the school and we wouldn’t win, because lots of people entered and we just usually don’t. So you can imagine my surprise when I walked in after the drawing and we had won both prizes!!! Those gift certificates will be awesome as I prefer not to cook much at this point and while it’s hot and the chair was decorated by Josie’s preschool class. They each made finger prints into different kinds of bugs. The girls are loving the chair, although Josie has rocked herself backwards out of it twice already.
