Curried Mushroom Turnovers

- 3 3-oz. packages of cream cheese at room temperature
- 1/2 c. butter
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 1 c. finely chopped onions
- 1/2 lb finely chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp curry
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
To prepare pastry: mix cream cheese and butter together thoroughly. Add flour and work with fingers until smooth. Chill well at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 450
Filling: Heat butter in skillet, add onions, brown lightly, add mushrooms, and cook stirring often. About 3 minutes. Add curry and salt and pepper. Sprinkle with flour. Stir in cream and cook gently until thickened. Roll out dough to 1/8
